Register Now for 2017 Critical Thinking Challenge - Registration Deadline: March 12, 2017

The Critical Thinking Challenge is open to all individual students, from grades 3 – 6, in order to promote the practical application of mathematics, encourage teamwork, build confidence, and increase their learning skills, all while having FUN!

With the Critical Thinking Challenge, Eye Level intends to promote the value and importance of problem solving and analytical skills that complement the often-tested calculation and arithmetic abilities. By focusing on problem solving and reasoning as a basis for the competition, Eye Level can encourage students to “think outside of the box” and hopefully bring a few newly-learned skills from the Challenge back to their schoolwork.

The content of the competition is derived from Eye Level’s global math program. When a child studies math at an Eye Level center, they focus on two important components—Basic Thinking and Critical Thinking. By putting emphasis on critical thinking skills as well as on arithmetic abilities, Eye Level Learning Centers strive to provide every student with a well-rounded math education that will set them up for future success as a lifelong learner.
